While initially starting of in bicycle sales, Sebastian soon changed his orientation and went on to pursue a career in facility services. Since Rabobank contracted him in 1999, Sebastian has been organizing events, and managed the in-house office (equipment) and communications infrastructure and maintenance. In addition, he also coordinated extensive projects as the setting up of a security plan. Having gradually expanded his knowledge and responsibilities as a facility coordinator, Sebastian considered the next logical step to be the creation of his own company Facility Work, with which he successfully offers an extensive range of facility services.
