Feature film project Dood Meisje wins Kodak NPP Development Prize
During the annual
Netherlands Production Platform at the Netherlands Film Festival, the
Kodak NPP Development Prize is awarded to
Elbert van Strien for his feature film project
Dood Meisje. The jury was impressed by the passion and commitment of the filmmakers.
Dood Meisje is about nine-year-old Lisa, who discovers that her sinister new friend is actually the ghost of her mothers' twin sister. Kodak rewards 5.000 euros to support the financial development of the project.
Dood Meisje is produced by Claudia Brandt and
Elbert van Strien for Accento Films and was developed by Van Strien at the Script Development Programme of the
Binger Filmlab in 2003.
