Dutch broadcaster
BNN, famous for their controversial and original tv shows, has invited BBC’s
Frank Ash to give a special master class on November 16th in Amsterdam.
Creative consultant
Ash has a great reputation in the international tv-business being a master at developing and pitching formats for television. He worked in the BBC as a film and studio director, producer, series producer and series editor across a wide range of factual TV programmes and designed and delivered new writing, story telling, formatting and story structuring workshops and master classes both for the BBC and all over the world.
In his master class
How to Build a Format Show he will show his unique vision on the creative process of brainstorming, the development of the format and how to sell the big idea. To illustrate his view he will show a number of clips from current format shows such as
The Apprentice,
Baby Borrowers,
Who Do You Think You Are? and
Kill it, Cook it, Eat it.
This will all take place on Sunday November 16th. In addition to How to Build a Format Show, Ash will give a master class on 17, 18 and 19 November, called
