Application DocuCoach

Documentary filmmakers with a project in development – from film idea to work in progress - can apply from January 2010 for a session with the DocuCoach. Applications can be submitted at any time until 30 May 2010.

Applications for projects in early development phase must include:

• one page synopsis and/or description of subject and possible characters
• a clear statement motivating your reasons for requesting the DocuCoach consultation session/s (maximum one page)
• resumé of director and producer
• selected footage (if applicable) and previous work

Applications for projects in research/production/postproduction phase must include:

• the application you may have used for finding finance (such as project proposal for broadcaster and/or fund)
  Please note: applications which have been turned down by funding bodies are also accepted - if you not have applied for funding yet, please include a 1 page synopsis, 2 - 4 page treatment and a director's statement
• a clear statement motivating your reasons for requesting the DocuCoach consultation session/s (maximum one page)
• resumé of director and producer
• selected footage (if applicable) and previous work

The submitted application and materials must be in Dutch or English

Selection will be based on an evaluation of all the submitted materials.
Sessions with the DocuCoach are fully subsidised by the Ministry of OCW and are offered without fee to accepted filmmakers.
